Terribly Missed But Never Forgotten
Thank you to all of the 350 people who came to the September 23rd Candlelight Vigil for Missing Women in South Carolina. Please know that your presence made a difference. It showed that while there are dozens of women like Kate who are missing around South Carolina-- they are not forgotten! Special thanks to our speakers, Dr. Alyssa Rheingold, ph.D, Rev. Jimmy Gallant and Karen Petit. All of them inspired us with their words. We also want to thank Rev. Al Zadig from St. Michael's Episcopal Church for his prayers at the vigil, and the musical group "Good News" who moved us with their music. As Kate's mother Janice said at the vigil, "I know the positive energy created here tonight will help find Kate and these other missing women. Someone out there knows where Kate is. And I hope that seeing all of you here tonight will soften the heart of someone, maybe the brother or sister or mother of this person, and help us bring our daughter home."
